If you would like to take the time to teach students how to thoroughly evaluate sources, please see the lesson plan and resources I have provided here to help guide you in educating your classes. 

Some reasons to teach students how to properly evaluate sources:

• avoid students used biased information

• teach them how to think critically when analyzing a source

• show students there can be incorrect and irrelevant information on the Internet

• be able to raise your expecations regarding the ype of sources they use in their work
